empty, filled, 2022
Inkjets on bond paper, floodlight, and tripod
empty, filled is a composition in process. It is an exploration of how to cope with ephemerality and the ineffable. This installation is documentarian and a byproduct of a different work. I am curious about the power dynamics of relics and the monument of burial and loss. The viewer is a bystander voyeuristically engaging the relationship between the floodlight and the prints.
