Ena Kantardžić (they, them) is an interdisciplinary artist working in gay nightlife who creates work from immediate perspective. Born a refugee in Germany during the time of the Bosnian War and raised in Boston, MA, they focus on chaos and the phenomenon of spontaneous order. Ena’s work ranges from nightclub lighting to prose poetry. Currently, they are a degree candidate in MassArt’s Studio for Interrelated Media program.

 

They have shown work at the Midway Gallery in Boston LGBTQIA+ Artist Alliance's “Hydra Effect'' and recently exhibited work at the Distillery Gallery in “HAGIOGRAPHY or NEW SAINTS.” Ena has been featured in the Boston Hassle, Rainbow Times, WBUR, and published in q+1, by Witness Magazine.
